Alexandra Swing Band
We are a practice swing band which meets at CUFOS every Friday night. We play a great range of music – Ellington, Basie, Blues, Latin, etc. Moderate sight-reading skills are needed, but it is all very informal, so anyone is free to visit.

First Friday Drum Collective
A completely fresh, spontaneous and free-form drum and voice circle, happening on the first Friday of every month at CUFOS. £2 contribution. Bring munchies, drink and anything else you fancy to enhance this evening of rhythmic fun and conversation.

London Metropolitan Brass Beginners Band
Come and learn to play a brass instrument – free of charge! Suitable for all, including complete beginners, lapsed players and people looking to play brass in an ensemble for the first time.

Palace Band
The Palace Band is a large wind ensemble for adult players of all abilities; instruments include flute, piccolo, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone (soprano/alto/tenor/baritone), and French horn. The band aims to give players the experience of playing in a larger ensemble and at the same time improving intonation, sight reading and ensemble skills. The Palace Band now comprises about 45 regular players, and there are many opportunities for playing in chamber groups.
When: Meets on alternate Sundays, 10 am–1 pm, during school terms.
